If you love playing poker, then this game for Xbox Live users will surely keep you playing with your friends. With the help of the Xbox Live, you can play Holdem poker with other Xbox users. Although this may not be the best poker game available today, it is still a good game if you are a fan of this popular game.

The Xbox Live Arcade Texas Hold’em Poker is more comparable to online poker games than console poker games. Although it will not make you feel like playing a real poker, you will still love the game due to the clear representation of the chips, cards, and money. I think the graphics and audio of this game made the poker online sites look like prototypes, but I would still prefer to play from online sites, if I were to look for great players.

You can play this game alone, but would you prefer to beat an artificial intelligence instead of playing with other players? The problem with this game is also the problem of other online poker games. Since you are not playing with real money, people will not play as good as when they are playing with real money. I would bet all-in for mid-high card but never would with real money even if I have two aces. That is the greatest downside of playing poker online.

This game may not be as good as other poker sites, but can be a good alternative for people who do not want to sign-up for poker sites. Personally I would give this game, 2.5 out of 5 stars for the game play, and 4 out of 5 stars for the graphics and audio. I cannot recommend this game for hardcore poker players, but I would for casual gamers who would love to play poker with their friends.
